Willie Mildred Boswell

Willie Mildred Boswell, age 90 of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2014. She was born in Dahlonega, GA to the late Theo and Eva Roberts Edwards on April 16, 1924. Mrs. Boswell was a member of New Bridge Baptist Church. She was proud to be one of the original Rosie the Riveter. Mrs. Boswell was known to many as mom and as mob by her nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her husband Eugene Lord Boswell. Mrs. Boswell is survived by her sons and daughters-in-laws, Eugene and Jan Boswell, Gainesville, Mike and Annette Boswell, Cleveland, Terry and Kim Boswell, Elijay, and her daughters and son-in-laws, Carla and Warren Cain, Cleveland, Tanna and Tom Lee, Gainesville. Grandchildren Gene, Sarah, Jeremy, Amanda, Tyler, Colin, Tiffany, Jake, Emory, Casey and Kala, and great grandchild Easton.

The family will receive at the funeral home on Saturday, November 29, 2014 from 2 until 4 PM and 6 until 8 PM. Funeral services will be held in New Bridge Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at 2 PM. With the Revs. Joe Dover and Milton Harris will officiate. Interment will be held at Walnut Fork Baptist Church, Braselton, GA.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers that memorial be made to Gateway Health and Rehab Activity fund c/o 3201 Westmoreland Road, Cleveland, GA 30528.
