Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Richard Scott Wade, age 76 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Sunday, November 30, 2014. Mr. Wade was born in Erwin, North Carolina, the son of the late William Otis Wade and Maidre Porter Wade. Mr. Wade loved hunting, fishing and golfing, was a retired Commercial Construction Superintendent, and was a member of Pond Fork Baptist Church.
Mr. Wade is survived by his wife, Linda Friend Wade of Jefferson, 1 daughter, 2 sons, 1 stepdaughter, 1 stepson, 1 brother, 1 sister and 2 uncles.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 3, 2014 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Johnny Knight officiating. Burial will follow in the Pond Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening 6
