Richard Bullock, age 79, of Helen, GA, formerly of Buford, GA passed away on Monday, December 1, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Bullock; parents, Joe and Beatrice Herrington Bullock; and sisters, Charlotte Bullock Ellis, Betti Jo Tracy, and Connie Bullock. He is survived by his children, Marcus and Lisa Bullock, Buford, GA, Nathan and Lisa Bullock, Helen, GA, and Matthew and Stephanie Bullock, Germantown, TN; twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jarelle and Sandee Bullock, Acworth, GA, Joe and Sylvia Bullock, Dacula, GA, and Frank and Melinda Bullock, Farmersburg, IN; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Bullock was born November 16, 1935 in Buford, GA. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served for eight years. He received his education at Bass High School in Atlanta, GA and was retired from Ditler Brothers Printing Company. He was a member of Chattahoochee United Methodist Church in Robertstown, GA and at one time was very involved with the Buford Athletic Association. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Wilkes officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, 5979 New Bethany Road, Buford, GA 30518. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. and on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m.
