Claude T. Allison

Claude T. Allison, age 93 of Gainesville passed away December 4th, 2014 at his residence following an extended illness.


Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 6th, 2014 at 3:30pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Mark Hutchins will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 5, 2014 from 6-9pm at the funeral home.


Mr. Allison was born February 4, 1921 in Clermont, Georgia to the late Herbert E. Allison and Dessie Black Allison. Mr. Allison was retired and a member of Pilgrim Baptist Church for 43 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Melvin Allison and a number of brothers and sisters.


Mr. Allison is survived by his wife of 68 years, Colleen Allison of Gainesville, Daughter and son in law, Linda and Randy Collins of Jefferson, son and daughter in law, Kim and Debbie Allison of Dawsonville, son, Keith Allison of Gainesville, 21 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
