Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Worth "Pug" Lord, age 82 of Hoschton, Georgia who entered into rest Saturday, December 6, 2014. Mr. Lord was born in Pendergrass, Georgia, the son of the late Dee and Addie Jane Gee Lord. Mr. Lord was retired from security at Pendergrass Exxon having worked with the Bridges family for over 50 years and attended Living Word Worship Center. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lord is preceded by a daughter Linda Waters, brothers; Hugh Lord, Hiram Lord, Dee Lord Jr. Thurman Lord and step grandchild Collin Evans.
Those surviving Pug are his wife Margie Evans Lord of Hoschton, daughter; Wanda Wright of Hoschton, sons; Bradley Lord of Athens, Barry Lord of Winterville, step sons; Jeff Evans and Wendell Evans of Statham, sister Joyce Orr of Arizona, half brother, Charles Orr of Grovetown, 12 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren and a large number of great and step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Mobley officiating with cremation following the service. The family will receive friends 6
