Jim Watts

Mr. Jim Watts, age 90 of 230 Richardson Street, Toccoa, GA, passed away at his residence on Saturday, December 27, 2014.

A son of the late Luther and Sally Ramey Watts, he was born April 10, 1924 in Rabun County, Georgia, having lived most of his life in Toccoa. He was employed with Matheson Furniture Company for a number of years and was a member of Chopped Oak Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his second wife Grace Watts.

Survivors include his wife Loraine Tidwell Watts of the home, 3 step-grandchildren, 3 step great-grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Wednesday from the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend William Baker and the Reverend Alvin Burns officiating.

The family is at the home on Richardson Street and will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Online condolences. www.acree-davisfh.com

The following will serve as pallbearers, Jimmy Tidewell, Josh Churchwell, Bryon Cook, Donnie Griffin and Don Crunkleton.

Interment will be in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Clayton GA. The Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for Mr. Jim Watts.
