Michael Allan Mathis

Michael Allan Mathis, 52, of Gainesville, Ga passed away on December 24, 2014.

A lifetime resident of Hall County, he was the son of the late James Steed and Lois V. Beach Mathis. Mr. Mathis was employed with Street Tech Industries as a draftsman.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Jim D. Mathis.

Mr. Mathis is survived by his brother and sister in law, Vernon Randall (Carolyn) Mathis of Martin, GA; nephew and niece, Rodney and Robin Mathis of Gainesville,; niece, Melissa Evans of Gainesville; nephew, Chris Mathis of Martin, GA,; great nephews, Robby Mathis and Trent Evans both of Gainesville; fiancé, Joann Inglett of Gainesville and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Zion Hill Baptist Church. Rev. Scott Wilson will officiate. The family will receive friends at Zion Hill Baptist Church from 5:00 p.m. on Saturday until the service hour.
