Sarah Sue Cole Ivester

Mrs. Sarah Sue Cole Ivester, age 89 of Chesterfield, Virginia passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at the CJW-Johnston-Willis Medical Center in Chesterfield, Virginia.

A daughter of the late Almus D. and Ruth Verner Cole, she was born May 25, 1925 in Franklin County, Georgia having lived in Stephens County, Georgia and in Clemson, South Carolina and for the past several years in Chesterfield, Virginia. She retired as a receptionist from the Pepsi Bottling Company in Alexandria, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cliver "Bill" Ivester in 2000 and by a sister, Buna Bone.

Survivors include one son, Ron Ivester of Chesterfield, Virginia and one grandchild; and a number of local cousins.

Graveside service will be Tuesday, January 6, 2015, 3 O'clock PM at Stephens Memorial Gardens with The Reverend Don Scott officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2 PM until the service time.

Interment will be in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Sarah Sue Cole Ivester.
