Robert Lee Brown

Robert Lee Brown, age 68, of Dahlonega, GA died Sunday, January 4, 2015.

He was a lifelong resident of Lumpkin County and of the Baptist faith. He retired from Fieldale Farms and loved gardening. He spent his life helping others.

Robert was the son of the late Benjamin and Emma Ray Brown, and was also preceded in death by his son, Waylon Brown; daughter, Bridget Brown; and brothers, Wesley, Junior, and Clifford Brown.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Pam Brown, Dahlonega, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Marvin and Pam Brown, Alabama, and Preston and Vickie Brown, Dahlonega; brother and sister-in-law, J.B. and Joyce Brown, Gainesville, GA; sister, Mary Lou Samples, Oakwood, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Louise and Mike Glenn, Gainesville, GA, Jackie and Donnie Ellis, Vickie and Clifford Griffin, all of Cleveland, GA; sister, Regina Seabolt, Dahlonega, GA; and former wife, Christine Free of Banks County. 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a number of other relatives also survive.

A Celebration of Life for Robert is scheduled for Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from 2PM until 5 PM at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA.
