Barbara Ann Waters Gee

Barbara Ann Waters Gee, 62, of Lawrenceville passed away Tuesday January 6, 2015 at Gwinnett Medical Center.
Born April 17, 1952 in Gilmer County to the late Mynor and Lula Waters, she lived most of her life in Dawson County and had lived in Lawrenceville for the past seven years. For several years she worked as a cook at Mama Ruth's restaurant in Cleveland, was an avid collector of anything to do with frogs, enjoyed reading, was a big fan of Elvis, was proud of her hometown and was a fan of Bill Elliott. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Maynard Waters, Sr., L.J. Waters, Lawton Waters and Delton Waters.
Surviving are her daughter and son in law, Rachel Michelle and John Michael Nagel, Lawrenceville; son, Wayne Gee, Gainesville; sister and brother in law, Doris and Bill Blackwell, Thomasville, NC, brothers and sisters in law, Weldon Waters, Gainesville, Floyd and Joyce Waters, Cleveland, Clinton and Marie Waters, Dahlonega, Larry and Donna Waters, Cumming; grandchildren, David, Nick, Matt, Daniel, Josh, Storm, Johnny and Dallas. A number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Friday January 9, 2015 at 2 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Duke Forster will officiate.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 until 9 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to assist with final expenses.
