Charles Wesley Holbrook

Charles Wesley Holbrook, born January 18, 1949, passed January 13, 2015 at 4:45 am surrounded by his loving family following an extended illness. He is preceded in death by father Luther Paris Holbrook.

Born and raised on Bethelview Road in Cumming, GA he was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Charles retired from General Motors after 35 years and was loved by all who ever knew him.

He is survived by his mother, Louise Mathis Holbrook; children Paul and Tracy Holbrook, Matthew and Tonya Holbrook; siblings Jerry and Judy Holbrook; grandchildren Kerri, Mikey, Kayla, Trey, Daphne, McKenzie, Caleb, Madison, Sara and Jacob; and great grandchildren Lilly Grace, Clara June and the newest baby Holbrook, who will arrive in August.

The arrangements are as follows: visitation will be at McDonald and Son Funeral Home on Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 10:00 am until 8:00pm and on Friday, January 16 from 10:00am to noon. The funeral service will be held at 1:00pm at Bethelview United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Bethelview United Methodist Cemetery.

We would like to thank Amedysis Home Health and Halcyon Hospice for the loving care and support they showed to Charles and his family during this time of transition. We would also like to thank McDonald and Son Funeral Home for the love and support of the family.
