Jeff 'Mac' McDaniel

Jeff "Mac" McDaniel, age 44, of Buford, GA passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jamie McDaniel. He is survived by his wife of fourteen years, Jan Goddard McDaniel; children, Learyn McDaniel and Amelia McDaniel; father and stepmother, Danny and Barbara McDaniel, Winder, GA; mother and stepfather, Diane and Dean Mansell, Dahlonega, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Denise and Matt Abston, Dahlonega, GA, and Rachel and Bill Snow, Bethlehem, GA; father-in-law, John Goddard, Dacula, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. McDaniel was born September 5, 1970 in Buford, GA. He was a 1988 graduate of North Gwinnett High School. He was a veterinary assistant and a former EMT. He was an avid sports fan and baseball umpire at Auburn and Buford. He was an avid Buford Football fan and grilled food for their home football games.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Ferguson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
