Richard Allen Dean

Mr. Richard Allen Dean, age 53 of 4943 Highway 184, Toccoa passed away Thursday January 22, 2014 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.



A son of William Howard and Sandra Ballew Dean, he was born in Ellijay, Georgia on January 25, 1961 but lived most of his life in Atlanta. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Tates Creek Baptist Church. He was a mechanic for Toyota for many years. He is preceded in death by two daughters Lauren and Danielle Dean and a brother Barron Dean.



He is survived by his parents William and Sandra Ballew Dean of Toccoa, daughter Karli Dean of Gainesville, a brother Michael Dean of Huntersville, N.C. and a nephew Christian Dean of Toccoa.



Funeral services will be Sunday January 25 at 2 P.M. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Chad Holcomb and the Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating. The family will be at the home and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. on Saturday. Interment will follow in Tates Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.



In lieu of flowers memories can be made to Lamar Christian Church 3248 Highway 105, Baldwin, Georgia 30511 in his memory.
