Ila Mae Hollifield

Ila Mae Hollifield Duff, age 104, of Dahlonega, GA passed away Saturday, January 31, 2015.

She was a lifelong resident of Lumpkin County, retired from North GA College in Dahlonega, and was a member of Enon Baptist Church in Lumpkin County

Ila Mae was the daughter of the late Ben and Ella Beck Hollifield, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Duff; daughter, Geraldine Davis; and sons, J.A. "Bunky" Duff and Allen "Tubby" Duff.

She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, George and Maebelle Duff, Clayton and Reba Duff; daughter, Lola Rider, all of Dahlonega, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Henrietta and Johnny Barnes, Murrayville, GA, Sue and Ron Stuart, Gainesville, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Lillian and Joe Slaton, Dawsonville, GA; grandchildren, Marty Davis, Danny and Lisa Duff, Randall and Brandy Duff, Dianne and Jackie Ray, Sam and Angie Duff, Colby Duff, Steve Duff, Justin Rider, and Holly Trusty. 15 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Ila Mae are scheduled for 1 PM Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Interment will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega from 5 PM until 9 PM on Sunday, February 1, from 4 PM until 9 PM on Monday, February 2, and from 9 AM until service time on Tuesday, February 3, 2015.
