Nancy McGukin Mahone

Nancy McGukin Mahone age 73 of Dahlonega passed away February 4, 2015. Mrs. Mahone attended the First Babtist Church of Dahlonega and was of Baptist faith. She grew up in Carrollton, Georgia and graduated from Georgia Baptist School of Nursing. Mrs. Mahone worked at Georgia Baptist Hospital and Northside Hospital; where she helped pioneer the stages of Neonatal United of Northside. In 1982 she began her career at Northeast Georgia and retired in 1998.

Mrs. Mahone is preceded in death by her parents Aurthur Bernard McGukin and Clara Odelle Smith McGukin.

Mrs. Mahone is survived by her husband of 34 years Marshall Mahone of Dahlonega and sisters Judy (Gene) Wallis of Carrollton, Jennifer (Mike) Ratliff of Perry, Melissa (Brad) Cole of Carrollton. Other nieces and nephews also survive.

Private family memorial service to be held at a later date.
