Jeremy Yopp

Jeremy Yopp, 37, of Lula passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Athens Regional Hospital following an extended illness.


Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend David Smith and Reverend Perry Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 4-8 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Yopp was born on January 20, 1978 in Gainesville. He attended North Hall High School. Jeremy enjoyed playing football and soccer and was a memeber of Silver Shoals Baptist Church.

Mr. Yopp is survived by his wife, Marilyn Yopp of Lula; sons, Bryson Yopp and Alex Farist; daughters, Sarah Jenkins and Christina Purgason; parents, Jerry B. and Mary Chapman Yopp;sisters and brothers-in-law, Lynn and Tim Gibson, Rebecca and Robert Peck; grandson, Bentley West; granddaughter, Paisley Farist; father and mother-in-law, Danny Darline Carver of Cornelia; number of brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws and several nieces and nephews.
