Bonnie Jean Jones

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Sunday February 15, 2015 at Center Grove Baptist Church for Bonnie Jean Jones age 59 of Gainesville. Randy Reagan will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Jones passed away Thursday February 12, 2015.


Mrs. Jones was born in Massachusetts to the late Albert John Lavoie and Janet Carol Hasting Lavoie. She had worked as a secretary for The Nineth District Opportunities and Peach State Fire. She was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her Son, Lester Holmes and Brother, Kevin Ross Lavoie.

Survivors include Husband, Richard Jones, Gainesville, Sons, Michael Jones, Flowery Branch, Darian Holmes, Gainesville, Daughters, Bonnie Abernathy, Cleveland, Mechelle Burr, Athens, Kelly Jo Holmes, Gainesville, Daughter-in-Law, Shannon Holland, Gainesville, Sister, Karen E. Wheeler, 9 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren.
