Freddie Ardel Aldrich

Mr. Freddie Ardel Aldrich age 65 of Freeman Creek Road, Eastanollee passed away Saturday February 14, 2015 at Stephens County Hospital.

A son of Ruby Manley Aldrich and the late Burdell Aldrich, he was born on October 5, 1949 in Franklin County, Georgia lived most of his life in Toccoa. He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from Pak-Pro in Toccoa. He was a member of Rock Quarry Congregational Holiness Church. He is preceded in death by two sisters Jean Pruitt and Jenny Crunkleton and one brother Roger Aldrich.

Survivors include his wife Ida Edmonds Aldrich of the home, his mother Ruby Manley Aldrich of Lavonia, two sons and daughter in law Brian Aldrich and Chris and Teela Aldrich of Eastanollee and two granddaughters Kristie and Maddie Aldrich, a brother and sister in law Randy and Donna Aldrich of Toccoa and a sister Donna Moss of Lavonia and a sister-in-law Martha Aldrich of Toccoa and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday February 17, 2015 at 2 P.M. at the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend John Umberhant and the Reverend Edward Hood officiating. Interment will follow in Lavonia City Cemetery. The family is at the home and will receive friends at Acree-Davis Funeral Home from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. and 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. on Monday.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Cody Crunkleton, Dwain Pruitt, Zach Crunkleton, Jason Aldrich, David "Bo" Pruitt and Brandon Fitzgerald.
