Eddie Lee Archer

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Eddie Lee Archer, age 58, of Jefferson, who passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015. Mr. Archer was born in Nicholson, GA, a son to the Mrs. Nell Gibson Archer of Jefferson and the late Bobby Lee Archer. Mr. Archer was a member of the Redstone Methodist Church. In addition to his father, Mr. Archer was preceded in death by his brothers, Wayman Archer, Eugene Archer, Joe Archer and sister, June Irwin.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Seagraves of Jefferson; sons, Brandon Archer of Nicholson, Joey Hollis of Jefferson; daughters, Amy Flanagan of Homer, Jessica Rainey of Panama City Beach, FL; mother, Nell Gibson Archer, of Jefferson; sisters, Helen Pyles of Jefferson, Barbara Campbell of Greensboro, brothers, Dean Archer of Jefferson, David Archer of Athens; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Stowers officiating. The burial will follow in the Redstone United Methodist Church Cemetery with Doug Archer, Drew Archer, Cody Denton, Taylor Archer, Audie Gibson and Alex Chambers honored as pallbearers. The visitation will be held on Monday evening from 6-8pm at Evans Funeral Home.
