Mr.Brandon Corey Watkins, age 33 of Lula, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Timberridge Baptist Church with interment to follow in the Church Cemetery. Reverend Phillip Robinson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 from 5 - 8 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Watkins was born March 2, 1982 in Gainesville, Georgia to Gary Watkins and Diane Pittman Watkins. He was a member of Timberridge Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dennis Pittman and his grandparents, Reverend Willis & Roena Watkins. Brandon loved life, outdoors, spending time with family, friends and his nieces. Most of all he strived to help other people.
Mr. Watkins is survived by his parents, Gary & Diane Watkins of Lula, brother & sister-in-law, Derek & Molly Watkins of Lula, 3 nieces, Bethany Phagan, Alexis Watkins and Kinslee Watkins, all of Lula, grandmother, Eddie Sue Pittman of Lula, his beloved dog, Tank and a host of other family members survive.
