Dorothy (Dot) Evans Fowler

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday March 12, 2015 at Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Dorothy (Dot) Evans Fowler, age 78 of Gainesville. The Rev. Bradley Elliott will officiate. Interment will follow at Airline Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Fowler passed away Tuesday March 10, 2015 at her home.








Mrs. Fowler was born in Dawsonville, GA to the late Sanford and Patsy Evans. Mrs. Fowler was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband and best friend of 55 years, William "Billy" Allen Fowler Jr, precious daughter, Micki Diane Loggins Lee, granddaughter, Tara Diane Garrison, grandsons, Jeffrey Lee Smallwood, Tommy "Scoot" Lee.


Survivors include her beloved and devoted children, Vickie Loggins, Gainesville, Ricky Loggins and Jennifer Byers, Gainesville, Keith and Carolyn Garrison, Alto, William Fowler III and Theresa Garrison, Gainesville, Linda Fowler, Gainesville, Robbie Fowler Smallwood, Gainesville, Bobby and April Fowler, Gainesville, Rena Fowler, Gainesville, sister and brother-in-law, Maxine and Cecil Motes, Gainesville, Sister, Betty Temple, Canton, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Carolyn "Lucy" Fowler Crisp and Billy Crisp, NC, and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Fowler will forever be missed by all. The family would like to say a special thanks to the nurses of Halcyon Hospice for their care.
