Margaret Johnson Follingstad

Mrs. Margaret Johnson Follingstad entered heaven on February 11, 2015 of circulatory complications. She was born on March 4, 1921 in Charleston, South Carolina to John W. Johnson and Juanita Beaty Johnson. She married Roy Follingstad and enjoyed 28 years of marriage until his death. Sent as a nurse anesthetist by the Presbyterian Church, she ministered to the Navajo tribe in Ganado, Arizona. She has been a faithful member of Westminster Presbyterian Church since she moved to Gainesville, Georgia from El Dorado, Arkansas. She will be missed by many who "adopted" her as a mother and grandmother.

She was predeceased by her siblings Mildred Johnson, Janet Canaday, Lena Cotton, Julia Attebury, Agnes Johnson Hyer, John Johnson, and Dale Johnson. She is survived by a niece, Ann Arida Talley and the following great nieces and great nephews and their children: George Arida, Janet Arida, Foster Rudd (Sandy), Crystal Austin Cantrell , Becky Woods (Allen), Ashley Miller (Bryan), and Mildred Solomon (Brad). Her final resting place is in Magnolia Cemetery in Charleston, S.C. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that contributions be made to: ONEChild # 98201, MTW 2589, Suwanee, GA. 30024.
