James David (Dave) Allen

Mr. James David (Dave) Allen, age 59, of Danielsville, GA died Thursday, March 26, 2015 at his residence.

Mr. Allen was born in Commerce to Patricia Gentry Allen of Danielsville and the late Aubrey Joe Allen. He was a member of Erastus Christian Church and was employed by Pilgrim Pride. In addition to his father, Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his sister, Amanda Hill.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Allen is survived by his wife, Mary Stevens Allen of Danielsville; daughters, Jamie Allen Spivey of Commerce and Jennie Allen Baxter of Danielsville; sister, Patricia Jarrett of Gillsville; brothers, George Allen of Hull and Andy Allen of Nicholson; one grandson, Sawyer Jamison Spivey of Commerce.

Funeral services will be at 4 PM, Saturday, March 28 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Mr. Carl Beckham and Mr. Mark Fitzpatrick officiating. Interment will follow in Erastus Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 5 to 8 PM.
