Tammy Jenkins Dowdle

Tammy Jenkins Dowdle age 52 of Dahlonega passed away on March 28th, 2015. Tammy was a native of Lumpkin county and a member of Kings Highway Church; she was strong in her faith and enjoyed being active with the youth. Most importantly Tammy was a loved wife, mother, and grandmother.
Mrs. Dowdle was preceeded in death by her parents Jimmy Lee Jenkins and Zona Roselee Wood Jenkins; and her brother Ernest Jenkins. Tammy is survived by her husband David Dowdle, her son Nathan Dowdle and wife Ashley, daughter Heather Patterson and husband Mark; brothers and sisters Elizabeth McFarland, Debra Jones, Gail Harris, Lynn Dowdle, and Grady Jenkins; grandchildren Hunter Dowdle, Ethan Dowdle, Katie Patterson, Ashtyn Dowdle, and Jacob Patterson. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services will be held Monday March 30th, 2015 at 3pm at Dahlonega Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends Sunday March 29th, 2015 at the funeral home from 9am until 9 pm, and again on Monday from 9 am until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery.
