Shane McKinley King

Mr. Shane McKinley King, age 22,  of 825 Airline Store Road, Bowersville, GA passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015 in Hartwell, GA.

A son of John Edwards and Harriett Mize, he was born May 21, 1992 in Stephens County having lived most of his life in Franklin and Hart Counties.  Shane worked for Latexco in Lavonia, GA and was of the Church of God faith. He was predeceased by his grandfather RIchard King.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Harriott (Tracy) Mize of Bowersville, GA, father, John Edwards of Watkinsville, GA, 2 daughters, Kayden King and Karly King both of Bowersville, son, Hunter King of Bowersville, brother, Adam King of Bowersville and a step-sister Emily Mize of Lavonia, GA, .grandparents, Shelby Heaton of Toccoa, GA, Bob & Trudy Edwards of Watkinsville, GA

Funeral services will be 4 PM Thursday, April 9, 2015 at the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Teddy King officiating.  The family will be at the home on Airline Store Road, Bowersville, GA and will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 until 8 PM.  Online condolences may be made by viewing our website.   www.acree-davisfh.com

Interment will be in the Toccoa City Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for Mr. Shane M. King.
