Steve Lamar Barrett

Mr. Steve Lamar Barrett, age 53, of Hull, GA died March 28, 2015 in the Philippines. Mr. Barrett was born Commerce to Richard and Virginia Elrod Barrett of Hull. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was retired from the United States Navy. He was a postal supervisor in Athens with the United States Postal Service.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Barrett is survived by his wife, Myrna Eba Lobo Barrett of Hull; children, Marybeth Barrett and Mark Barrett both of Hull and Melody Barnett of Colbert; sister, Melisa McDaniel of Hull; brothers, Wayne Barrett and Richard Doug Barrett both of Hull; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Sunday, April 12 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Swayne Cochran and Rev. Lonnie Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 4 to 8 PM.
