Shirley Mae Cole

Shirley Mae Cole, age 77, of Dahlonega, GA died Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Chestatee Regional Hospital in Dahlonega, GA.

Mrs. Cole was an Ohio native who had lived in Dahlonega for the past 3 years. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

Shirley was the daughter of the late Glenn Isaac Gates and Dina Mathews Sheetz and was also preceded in death by her husband, Peter Cole; and a sister, Joyce Burton.

She is survived by sons, Richard Bare, Dahlonega, GA, and Michael Bare, Ohio; daughters and son-in-law, Diane Lynn Bare Painter and her husband, Dave, Ohio, and Sheryl Jeffery, Dahlonega, GA; sister, Christine Gatien, Acworth, GA; grandchildren, Jerame Painter and his wife Sara, Makaila Bare,  Jamie Painter Roeth, Chad Bare and his wife, Sherry, Jason Jeffery, Christopher Jeffery and his wife, Amy; great-grandchildren, Larkin Painter, Isabella Painter, Dalton Painter, Brody Painter, Alexandria Bare, Kacey Bare, Cameron Jeffery, Chloe  Jeffery, Michael Heichel, and Kyle Jeffery.  A number of other relatives also survive.

A Celebration of Life service for Shirley will be held at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA on Tuesday April 21, at 3 PM.

Rev. J R Fields will officiate.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home on Tuesday from 12 Noon until 3 PM.
