Mrs. Wilma Jean Perdue Hill, age 76, of Homer, GA died Monday, April 27, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Hill was born in Gillsville to the late John and Rhodia Wilson Perdue. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church and was a retired hairdresser. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Douglas Hill.
Mrs. Hill is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Clark and Doreen Hill of Commerce; brothers, Tommy Perdue of Cleveland and Donald Perdue of Commerce; granddaughters, Emily, Maggie and Callie Hill all of Commerce; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Wednesday, April 29 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow in the Hill Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 2 to 4 PM and also 6 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Commerce Civic Center Elevator Fund at the following: City of Commerce, ATTN: City Clerk, P.O. Box 348, Commerce, GA 30529.
