William Rufus 'Junior' Bryant, Jr.

William Rufus “Junior” Bryant, Jr. of Murrayville passed away on Sunday May 3, 2015.  A lifelong resident of Hall County, he was the son of the late William Rufus, Sr. and Louella Bryant.

 

Mr. Bryant was one the first road builders, he graded many roads in this areas as well as lakes, dams, some area schools and golf courses all over the southeast. Mr. Bryant was a World War II veteran. He was a member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church.

 

Mr. Bryant is survived by his wife Billie Stringer Bryant; daughter and son in law, Martha Paulette and Charles Parks; son, William R. Bryant, III; daughter and son in law, LaTrelle and Paul Clark; daughter and son in law, Teresa and Gordon Van Mol; son and daughter in law, Thomas O. and Robin M. Bryant; daughter and son in law, Elizabeth and Elton Reid; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Yellow Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Larry Forrester and Dr. Bruce will officiate. Interment will be in the Yellow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.
