Leola (Billie) Walls Lynch

Leola “Billie” Walls Lynch, age 96, Alto, Georgia, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015. 

Mrs. Lynch was born on February 4, 1919 in Hiawassee, Georgia to the late John Wesley and Lou Wheeler Walls.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hubart Lynch; daughter, Sharon Lynch; and several brothers and sisters.  Mrs. Lynch was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church.  She was a homemaker. 

Survivors include her daughter, Gail Lynch Smith, Alto, GA; grandchildren, Megan and Richard Dills, Alto, GA, Myriah and Robert White, Cornelia, GA; great grandchildren, Thomas Dills, Cameron Smith, and Bryson White.  She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. 

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am on Monday, May 11, 2015 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with Rev. Michael Parker officiating.  Interment will follow in Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Roy Lee Mitchell officiating. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3-6 pm on Sunday, May 10, 2015.
