Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday May 13, 2015 at Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Harold C. Dale age 82 of Gainesville. The Rev. Steve Brannon and Rev. Marshall Dale will officiate. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Dale passed away Monday May 11, 2015.
Mr. Dale was born in Banks County to the late Alvin Dale and Muriel McDonald Dale. He retired from General Motors and was a member of Sugar Hill Baptist Church. He was a nascar fan and loved Dale Earnhardt. He was preceded in death by his great grandson Tyler Suggs.
Survivors include wife, Betty Walker Dale, Gainesville, son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Sheryl Dale, Lula, Mitchell and Jackie Dale, Gainesville, daughter, Connie Dearman, Gainesville, son and daughter-in-law, Cathy and Steve Brannon, Lula, Carol and Butch Suggs, Gainesville, brothers, Bobby Dale, Powder Springs, Al Dale Jr., Atlanta, sisters, Doris Tallant, Gainesville, Bonnie Turner, Gainesville, Linda Smith, Gainesville, Betty DeFranco, Gadsden, AL, 10 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and a number of other relatives.
