Aubrey Mack Hooper

Obituary Date: Tuesday, May 12, 2015
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday May 17, 2015 at Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Aubrey Mack Hooper age 88 of Gainesville. The Rev. Danny Jones will officiate. Interment will follow at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Hooper passed away Tuesday May 12, 2015.
 
Mr. Hooper was born in White County to the late Ollie M. Hooper and Susie Nix Hooper. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II with the 17th Airborne Division and later worked for the U.S.D.A. He was a member of Northlake Baptist Church, V.F.W., and American Legion Paul E. Boling Post.
 
Survivors include Wife, Etheleen J. Hooper, Gainesville, Son and Daughter-in-law, Douglas and Maritza Hooper, Lilburn, Son, Donald L. Hooper, Gainesville, Daughter and Son-in-law, Dana and Greg Wigley, White, GA, Brother, Donald H. Hooper, Gainesville, Sisters, Ruth Loudermilk, Gainesville, Ethel Smith, Gainesville, Micki Hurley, Murrayville, Grandchildren, Melanie Hooper, Atlanta, Ashley Hooper, Columbus, Alex Cuda, Marietta, Andrew and Candace Cuda, Marietta, Great Grandson, Lucas Sipple-Cuda and a number of other relatives.
