Shirley Spain Shubert

Mrs. Shirley Spain Shubert, 80, of Gainesville, Ga. passed away on Tuesday May 12, 2015 following a sudden illness.  A lifetime resident of Hall County, she retired from the Cake Box Bakery where she had worked for over 25 years.  Mrs. Shubert was a member of Gillsville Baptist Church.

Mrs. Shubert is survived by her husband of 57 years, J.T. “Jake” Shubert of Gainesville; son, Keith Shubert of Maysville; brother, Lewis Spain of Gainesville and a host of loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday May 15, 2015 at Gillsville Baptist Church. Rev. Bill Calhoun and Rev. Shannon Rhodes will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday, May 15^th from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Gillsville Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 416, Gillsville, GA 30543
