Catherine Pauline Holcomb

Mrs. Catherine Pauline Holcomb, age 89, of Flowery Branch passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Braselton.

Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Braselton.  Inurnment will be at Alta Vista Cemetery.

Mrs. Holcomb was born March 21, 1926 to the late Ned & Elizabeth Childers in Gainesville.  She was a member of Kingdom Hall in Flowery Branch and enjoyed shopping and home decorating.  She was a caregiver to all of her family & friends.

Mrs. Holcomb was also preceded in death by her husband, Leon Holcomb, Sr.; daughters, Barbara Sue Holcomb-Fish & Mary Ann Damons; and son, Efrem Watson.  She is survived by, son & daughter-in-law, Leon & Evelyn Holcomb, Jr. of Gainesville; son, Michael Holcomb of Gainesville; grandchildren, Derrick & Dok Mai Bell of Duluth, Stacey & Melinda Bell of Gainesville, Travis Fish of Duluth, Paulette Bell of Gainesville, Casandra& John Banks of Flowery Branch; Tosha & Fred Stephens of Gainesville, Michelle Cheeks of Duluth, Renee Damons of Lithonia, Candace Young of Norcross, Quincy Holcomb of Gainesville, Patrick Watkins of Gainesville, and Derris Damons of Gainesville; 32 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
