May 14th, 2015, our dear mother, Grace Carroll Pittman, went home to be with her Heavenly Father. She passed peaceful with her family at bedside. She was a very special lady that touched the lives of all that knew her.
She was the daughter of the late Tony and Gladys Jackson Carroll. Survivors include her sons, Robert Pittman and George Pittman both of Maysville; daughter, Virginia Pittman Campbell of Lula; brother, J.L. Carroll of Gillsville; sisters, Ruth Parks of Maysville, Zelma Turpin of Maysville, and Mary Carroll of Luverne, Minnesota; grandchildren, Tammy McCoy, Julie Towe, FiFi Pittman, Mike Pittman and Caleb McCoy; and five great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday May 16th, 2015 from 2 pm until 4 pm and 6 pm until 8:30 pm. Services will be held at Diamond Hill Church, May 17 at 3 pm with Rev. Michael Parker, Rev. Cody Ryals and Rev. Greg Poole officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
