Dean Alan Miller

Dean Alan Miller, 55, of Dawsonville passed away Thursday May 14, 2015 following an extended illness.

Mr. Miller was born December 28, 1959 in Bluffton, Ohio.  Previously of Port Orange, Florida he had been a resident of Dawsonville for the past 20 years.  A member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Alpharetta, he worked for Home Depot in Cumming and Dawsonville for the past 15 years.  Dedicating his life to being a loving husband, father, and grandfather, he was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Nelson Miller and father, Paul Edward Miller.

Surviving are his son and daughter in law, Brian and Jessica Miller; daughter, Kristen Miller, Cumming; mother, Ellen-Mae Miller, Ohio; sisters and brothers in law, Debra and Neil Pauff, Ohio, Cheryl and Richard Bayless, Ohio; brother and sister in law, Jay and Nina Miller, Tennessee; grandson, Ryland Miller; a number of nieces, nephews  and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held Saturday May 15, 2015 at 10 o’clock at Messiah Lutheran Church followed by an interment service at Sawnee View Gardens at 11:30.  Pastor Larry Zahn will officiate.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to help offset final expenses.
