Reynolds Fry

Reynolds Fry, age 70 of Clarkesville, passed away Monday, May 18, 2015, at his residence.

Born in Habersham County on November 08, 1944, he was a son of the late Alvin Fry and Bernice Savage Fry. Mr. Fry was a former logger and a member of Unity Baptist Church. He was an outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing and hunting, and a NASCAR fan.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Fry was also preceded in death by an infant sister; sister, Louise Gragg; brother, Rayford Fry; granddaughter, Sarah Brooke Loudermilk.

Surviving are wife of 47 years, Ann Fry of Clarkesville; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny Reynolds, Jr. and Cindy Fry of Clarkesville; daughter, Tammy Elizabeth Fry of Cornelia; daughter and son-in-law, Christy & Autry Gibby of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Matthew, Kayla, Nathanael, Dalton, Cole, Taylor, Brandon, Isaac, and Hayley; brothers, Richard and James Fry both of Clarkesville; sisters, Joan Elrod of Demorest and Joyce Adams of Turnerville.

Funeral services are 11:00 am Thursday, May 21, 2015, at Unity Baptist Church with Rev. Jamie Chastain and Rev. Marty Kilby officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

All family, pallbearers, and friends are requested to meet at the church by 10 am Thursday.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9 pm on Wednesday.
