Delta Austin Smith

Delta Austin Smith, 97, passed away May 16, 2015, after a short illness. She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Edward Smith.   She is survived by five children – Debra Booth, Wendy Audette, JoAnne Kelly, Leslie Maze and Roger Smith and their spouses. She also had 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. 

Delta Smith loved her family and had a passion for animals. She was one of the founders of the Humane Society of Forsyth County in 1975. 

The family will have a private memorial in June.

 In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society of Forsyth County in her memory (P.O. Box 337, Cumming, GA  30028).
