Evelyn Barrett Trotter

Mrs. Evelyn Barrett Trotter, age 70, of Gainesville, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, May 24, 2015 at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend David Harbin, Reverend Clack Stubbs and Reverend Tony Elrod will officiated.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 23, 2015 from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

            Mrs. Trotter was born February 8, 1945 in Lula, Georgia to the late Arthur Barrett and Blanch McIntyre Barrett.  She was retired from Sears Department Store and attended Northside Worship Center.  Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Grady Ernest Trotter, her brother, Charles Barrett and her grandson, Matt Trotter.

            Mrs. Trotter is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law, Jim & Barbara Trotter and Jeff & Teresa Trotter, all of Gainesville, grandchildren, Jessica Trotter, Amanda Parker, Kayla Carawan, Gracie Parker and Graydon Trotter, great-grandchildren, Matthew Trotter, Wesley Carawan and Kilee Carawan and her sisters & brothers-in-law, Brenda & Rev. David Harbin of Commerce and Kathy & John Miller of Gainesville.
