Ellsworth Smith

Mr. Ellsworth “Smitty” Smith, age 81, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2015.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Rogers Smith; and step children, Joe Morgan and Danny Morgan. He is survived by his sons, Jeffrey Smith and Kevin Smith; step children, Melissa Hughes, Winder, GA, Jeffrey Morgan, Tennessee, and Tammy Bolin, Adairsville, GA; grandchildren, Christina Payne, Flowery Branch, GA, Harley Dean, Winder, GA and James Dean, Winder, GA; several other grandchildren; and brother, Arthur Smith, Connecticut.  Mr. Smith was born February 10, 1934 in Derby, CT.

He was a high school graduate and a veteran of the U. S. Navy. He was a member of the Duluth American Legion Post 206. He was retired from Inner Lake Stamping Company in Norcross, GA as a machinist.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Shane Crowe officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
