Carl Henry Grizzle

Carl Henry Grizzle, age 97 of Gainesville, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015 at his residence.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Terry Fields officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 1, 2015 from 3:00-7:00pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Grizzle was born November 3, 1917 in Dahlonega, Georgia to the late Clayton and Ella Walden Grizzle. Mr. Grizzle served his country in the United States Army during World War II in the 706^th Tank Battalion in Okinawa, Japan. He was retired as a supervisor from Dixie Lime and Stone Rock Quarry and was a member of Yahoola Baptist Church.

Mr. Grizzle is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Stella Grizzle and several nieces and nephews.
