Betty Jo Ross, age 81 of Gainesville, GA passed Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.
Born January 13, 1934 to the late Mr. & Mrs. Nobel (Helen) Ross Sr. in Cleveland, GA., she was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Willie Cleveland, brother, Nobel Ross and son, Joe Edward Ross.
Ms. Ross is survived by son, Richard Ross and daughter; Kim Ross of Gainesville, GA., and son and daughter-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Chandler (Betsy) Ross of Flowery Branch, GA.; grandchildren, Mr. & Mrs. Xavier (Sheena Ross) Johnson, Matthew Ross, Joshua Stringer, Renee Stringer and Trevor Ross of Gainesville, GA., and Nicholas Ross of Flowery Branch, GA., and four great grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit with the family Friday, June 12, 2015, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Chandler Ross, 5521 Raccoon Hollow, Flowery Branch, GA.
Memorial Services will be held June 13, 2015, 11:00 a.m., at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 705 Summit Street, Gainesville, GA., 30501. Rev. Dr. Clarence Thrower, pastor and Rev. Matt Murphy, eulogist.
