Nelson Morese Wiley

Nelson “Sug” Morese Wiley, 75, of Gillsville passed away on Friday, June 5, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

                Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park with interment to follow in Gray Hill Cemetery. Reverend Phil Ferguson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 7, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. and on Monday, June 8, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

                Mr. Wiley was born on July 30, 1939 to the late Faye Wiley and Bertie Armour Wiley. He was the former owner and operator of Gillsville Hardware and was a member of Clemons Chapel. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Valerie Baugh Wiley; daughter, Tina Chappell; sisters, Katie Wiley and Billie Sue Wiley; brothers, Jimmy, Bobby, Aubrey and Leon Wiley.

                Mr. Wiley is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Christy Baugh and Jason Cain of Gillsville, Sandy Hellard and Keith Thompson of Cleveland, Paulette Massey and Jeff Phagan of Cleveland; son, Brian Wiley of Gillsville; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Baxter Smith of Lula.
