Marilyn Kay Hopkins

Ms. Marilyn Kay Hopkins, age 58 of Valdosta, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.       

Marilyn was a generous, loving and sassy person.  She never failed at helping anyone with anything because she loved everyone.  She had a heart bigger than she was.  She will be missed by all.

Memorial services are scheduled for Monday, June 15, 2015 at 6:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends on Monday, June 15, 2015 from 3 - 6 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Ms. Hopkins was born July 14, 1957 in Lorain, Ohio to the late John Hopkins and Dolly Skinner Hopkins.  She was the owner/operator of Grace House and was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Linda Hopkins.

Ms. Hopkins is survived by son, Patrick & Samantha McGeorge of Valdosta, Georgia, brother, Robert “Bob” Hopkins of Tampa, Florida and sister, Patricia Overdorff of Gainesville.
