Elizabeth Weathers Henderson

Elizabeth Weathers Henderson, age 79, of Buford, GA passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2015.

She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-four years, Henry Bunyan Henderson; granddaughter, Elizabeth Talton; parents, Homer and Delphia Weathers; sisters, Sylva Breedlove, Mattie Layfield, Joyce Beard and Patricia Pendley; and brothers, James Weathers, Olin Weathers, Rayford Weathers and Raymond Weathers. She is survived by her children, Renee Notti, Bethlehem, GA, Rebecca and Marvin Morgan, Gainesville, GA and Roland and Ann Henderson, Pendergrass, GA; eight grandchildren, Dina Notti, Rachele Notti, Justin Notti, Cassie Byars, Adam Morgan, Jessica Alexander, Josiah Henderson, and Michala Henderson; six great grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Joyce Duran, Flowery Branch, GA and Geraldine and Joe Reed, Holland, MI.

Mrs. Henderson was born October 3, 1935 in Dacula, GA. She was a 1954 graduate of Dacula High School as Valedictorian of her class. She was retired from Utica Mutual Insurance Company with over forty years of service. She was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Auburn, GA.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with Rev. Sammy Everett and Brother Gary Kennedy officiating. Graveside service and interment will follow in Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Lee Sass officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
