Lonnie Mike Brown

Lonnie Mike Brown, age 39 of Clarkesville, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015. 

Mr. Brown was born on September 18, 1975 in Cumming, GA to James “Red” Melvin Brown and Donna Summerour Mull.  He was a self-employed carpenter.   Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Bonnie Summerour; paternal grandparents, Russell and Alice Brown; niece, Emily Brooks. 

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Donna and Dewey Mull, Clarkesville; father and step-mother, Red Brown and Cheryl Collins, Dawsonville; sons, Cody and wife, April Brown, Cleveland, Dustin Cantrell, Dahlonega, John Tyler Brown, TN; daughters, Chelsea and husband, Matthew Skinner, Hiawassee, Rachel Brown, Cleveland; sisters, Mandy and husband, Hank Adams, Jamie and husband, Coty Brown, Kayla and husband, Joe Brooks; brothers, Bobby  and wife, Sarah Brown, and Stoney Mike Smith; maternal grandfather, Willie Summerour, Cleveland; grandchildren, Michaela Brown, Noah Skinner, Jonah Skinner; Companion, Lisa Rider; several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Friday, June 19, 2015 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.  The Rev. Terry Fields will officiate.  Interment will follow at Summerour Family Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 12-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home and again on Friday until the funeral hour.
