Eileen Agnes (Heinold) Eurek

Obituary Date: Tuesday, June 23, 2015

Eileen Agnes (Heinold) Eurek, a former resident of Big Canoe, Georgia, passed away at age 80 on June 23, 2015.  Eileen was born in East Keansburg, New Jersey on March 15, 1935.  She was married for 59 years to Edward John Eurek of Loup City, Nebraska. Eileen and Ed raised their five children in Omaha, Boston, Washington DC and Atlanta.  Eileen designed their home they built in Big Canoe to enjoy during their retirement years.  Eileen loved the beach, cruises, sewing and crafts, table top games and spending time with family and friends. 

Ed and Eileen had five children, 2 daughters and 3 sons, who grew to add 2 son-in-laws and 3 daughter-in-laws, 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ed.  She is survived by; Daughters Joyce Chapman (Doug) of Dahlonega, Debbie Kinney (Charles) of Norcross, Sons Wayne Eurek (Phyllis) of Johns Creek, Duane Eurek (Terri) of Savannah, Bruce Eurek (Renya) of Dahlonega; grandchildren Brandon, Tara (Lance), Scott (Stacy), Ryan, Christina (Andrew), Steven (Gabby), Allyson (Sam), Morgan, Kevin (Cassie), Olivia and Landon; Great Grandchildren Aiden and Jillian, Jett and Jaclynn; Brother Charles Heinold (Consuelo) of Florida; Niece Mary (Ed) of Cleveland and Nephew Chuck (Lisa) of Florida; Brother-in-laws Ernie (Lorraine) of Texas, David (Janet) of Nebraska, Frank (Maryann) of Nebraska and Ken (Diana) of Colorado, and 3 nieces and 7 nephews and their families.

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, Agnes Katherine (Koegel) Heinold and Charles William Heinold of New Jersey and Florida.

Visitation will be held at McDonald and Son Funeral Home, 150 Sawnee Drive, Cumming, Georgia on Sunday, June 28, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral services to be held at The Catholic Church of the Good Shepherd, 3740 Holtzclaw Rd, Cumming, Georgia on Monday, June 29, 2015 at 12:00 noon.  Burial at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia at 2:30 pm.
