Janet Louise Caldwell Reynolds

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Janet Louise Caldwell Reynolds, age 84 of Jefferson, who passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015. Mrs. Reynolds was born in Brookville, Pennsylvania, the seventh child of the late Ellis Clinton Caldwell and the late Ida Nelle Yarger Caldwell. Mrs. Reynolds was a Licensed Practical Nurse, a retired Preschool Teacher, and a member of the Jefferson First United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Thomas Reynolds, her second husband, William E. Simmons and five sisters and two brothers.

Survivors include her son, Brad Caldwell Reynolds, of Jefferson, daughter, Mary Reynolds Dagen of Phoenix, Maryland, brother, David Ellis Caldwell of Novato, CA, and one granddaughter, Hadley Anne Dagen.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Jefferson First United Methodist Church with Rev. Chris Laskey officiating. A reception will be held in the Church Fellowship Hall, following the service.
