Rose Leggi

Mrs. Rose Leggi, age 97, of Oakwood, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Waterford Assisted Living following an extended illness.

            Memorial services are scheduled for Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 11:00 am at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.  Deacon Bill Donahue will officiate. 

            Mrs. Leggi was born May 11, 1918 in New York, New York to the late Gaetano Coppola and Teresa DiPace Coppola.  She was retired from the City of New York where she was employed as a Clerk in the Vital Records Office.  Rose was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Leggi and son, Jimmy Leggi.

            Mrs. Leggi is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Brenda & Bob Watson of Gainesville, her sister, Margaret DeMartino of Brooklyn, New York, 2 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
