William (Kenneth) Beasley, age 85, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 at his residence.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 am Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel with interment to follow with military honors at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 pm Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at the funeral home. Dr. Bart McMillian will officiate.
Mr. Beasley was born July 9, 1929 a native of Hall County and the son of the late John Beasley and Beulah Ford Beasley. He was retired from the United States Navy following 21 years of service and also retired from Cain Electric as a master electrician after 30 years of service. He attended Riverbend Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ross, BC, James, and Donald Beasley and sister Ruby Hooper.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Gailya Kay Hargrove Beasley of Gainesville; sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Anne Beasley of Gainesville; Michael and Sharon Beasley of Gainesville; daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Randy Copeland of Clermont; Brenda and Ronnie Bell of Cleveland; and Carolyn and Mark Adams of Gainesville; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and a number of other family and friends also survive.
